Gandaki Chief Sita Kumari Poudel is preparing to administer oath to the newly appointed Chief Minister Krishnachandra Nepali today.
According to Article 168, Clause 5 of the Constitution, Poudel had appointed Nepali Congress Gandaki parliamentary party leader Nepali as the Chief Minister on Saturday.
Chief Minister Nepali has the support of the Maoist Center, Janata Samajwadi Party, Janamorcha and independent MP Deepak Manange.
As soon as Chief Minister Poudel is sworn in, Chief Minister Nepali is preparing to appoint four ministers today.
Among them are Kumar Khadka from the Nepali Congress, Madhumaya Adhikari Gurung from the UCPN (Maoist), Harisharan Acharya from the JSP and Deepak Manange, an independent MP. Preparations have been made to administer oath to them today.
Hari Bahadur Chuman, leader of the Maoist parliamentary party, said that it was agreed to make all the four ministers without portfolios for the time being as the responsibilities of the ministry have not been decided yet.
