Asar 29, Kathmandu. President Bidya devi Bhandari has appointed Sher Bahadur Deuba as the Prime Minister.
The Supreme Court had ordered Deuba to be appointed prime minister by 5 pm on Tuesday.
Accordingly, the President appointed Deuba as the Prime Minister on Tuesday afternoon, said Bhesharaj Adhikari, Personal Secretary to the President.
The swearing-in is scheduled for 6 p.m.
