A certified copy of the Supreme Court’s order to appoint Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba as the Prime Minister has been sent to the Office of the President and the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers by 5:00 pm on Tuesday. Leaders and activists of all parties except the Oli faction have hailed the Supreme Court’s decision as a victory for democracy.
